The Initiates Group in recognition of the inherent hazards of Waste Management and industrial cleaning operations, critically conducts robust Job Hazard Analysis on all operations to be carried out outside or in any of her Facilities for effective control and mitigation. Also, all TIG’s operations are conducted under control, and by personnel with excellent knowledge of risk management, cleaning and waste management operations, and personal protection equipment. In line with this policy, TIG is committed to:
- Compliance with Industrial Cleaning and Waste Management Industry standards, Occupational Health and Safety laws and regulations;
- Implementation of procedures for the identification, prevention and mitigation of health hazards and risks;
- Provision of all employees with relevant personal protection equipment, technical information on Occupational Health and Safety; and
- Implementation of preventive practices and response procedures with regard to emergencies.
This Policy is implemented to principally guarantee sustainability of healthy and enthusiastic staff, to ensure proper management when necessary through Health Surveillance, Monitoring Staff-Sickness-Absence, counselling and medication.
